Are you an experienced Network Engineer who enjoys doing more than simply keeping infrastructure running? This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of network design, architecture and technical standards, while helping create scalable frameworks that can be implemented consistently across complex international projects.
Our client is an innovative technology organisation developing sophisticated audiovisual systems, software and high-end hardware used by medical professionals and emergency services to train for critical situations. Their solutions are deployed across universities, hospitals and medical training environments, where reliable and well-designed IT infrastructure is fundamental to the success of each project.
You will be involved from the early stages of projects, taking responsibility for IT planning, network architecture and system design, defining infrastructure requirements, network integrations, hardware setups and configuration baselines. You will work closely with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Staging and Support, acting as the key technical link between internal teams and customer IT departments.
A major focus of the position will be designing networks and creating and implementing reusable technical frameworks. You will define, document and maintain network requirements, system standards and integration guidelines, while building scalable, repeatable approaches that can be applied across multiple projects. The goal is to reduce unnecessary customisation and establish consistent technical foundations that support long-term scalability.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across network design, IT infrastructure and system integration, with solid knowledge of VLANs, firewalls, routing and Windows environments. Experience creating and implementing technical frameworks, standards or architecture guidelines is a must-have, alongside the ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions. LDAP, SSO and AV/network integration experience will be advantageous.
Location: Vienna, Austria / Hybrid Working
Salary: €50,000 – 80,000
